Details
Joe Adams is renowned for creating capable and comfortable cruising yachts which also boast excellent sailing ability and performance. This Custom Adams 45 is a great example of his work and was designed as a serious Bluewater Cruiser with an impressive turn of speed. The vessel was professionally built to a high standard in Newcastle.

On deck, the cockpit offers plenty of seating and a spectacular spot to sit and take in the views. The aft deck is a large flat area and would be perfect to pull up a bean bag, crack open a beer and watch the sun set. The fore deck also offers plenty of space and can be used as a platform for the tender.

Stepping inside, you are greeted by a warm and welcoming ambience. To port is the galley, with a 4 burner gas stove, oven, microwave and fridge. Moving forward you will find a dining table with seating for 5, and an additional seat across the alley for 3. Forward is a generous v-berth. Back to midships, you can move aft down the starboard side through a workshop area with a rather large sturdy bench, vice and drill press. The accommodation makes the vessel ideal for cruising with friends or family, as there are two private double cabins aft. The package is complete with generous private bathroom with electric toilet and shower.

This vessel is powered by a well maintained and reliable 90hp Ford Lehman Diesel Engine, with Borg warner velvet drive reduction gearbox. Providing easy cruising at 7 knots (1000rpm) using only 3-4L/h. There is excellent access for hassle free servicing with the engine located below the cockpit at floor level.

This vessel was taken out of the water in March, where it received a new antifoul, anodes and had prop speed applied. It also includes spares for almost everything!
